The Kids Art Academy runs an skills based, ORIGINAL and progressive drawing and painting skills course to children aged 7 years or older. The program is a treasure trove of tips and tricks in a nutshell and designed for easy accomplishment to build confidence, self esteem and a love of art.

The course has been fine tuned since 1996 by over 20 professional artists and has been taught to 1000's of kids throughout Southern Sydney, some of who now are professional artists, animators and designers themselves. The course has been written with the backing of experience in many art industries, such as, fashion design, graphic design,T.V. animation and cartoon, and exhibiting professional painters.

I run a scholarship program through primary schools which has been very successful, and interesting projects come my way, like book illustration and even set design for T.V. pilots.

The Aim

The aim is to encourage and nurture art in children. Have you noticed how kids get excited by anyone who can draw? I want to open up the world of art and show them how to be more observant of the world around them. Art is all about beauty, creativity, relaxation, introspection, self-expression and problem solving. Art can be done anywhere, can cost very little, is a balance to sports.....AND it's gets them back to basics....unplugged!  Parents tell us that their child's school work and concentration have improved.

Anyone can do it if they are shown how.
